It's an evening departure, over night flight on board a luxury wide body aircraft with dinner and breakfast on board.
Arrival Cairo international airport, Meet and Assist at the airport and after going through Immigration, Baggage Claim and Customs, Transfer to the hotel en route, (the unknown soldiers and the late President Saddat tomb) optional dinner and Overnight.
Breakfast at the hotel is followed by a full day tour. In the morning you will be driven to see one of the seven wonders of the world the Pyramids of Giza and the Great Sphinx: the most famous monuments of not only ancient Egypt but of the entire ancient world! These massive stone structures were built around 4,500 years ago on a rocky desert plateau close to the Nile.
After lunch, at a local restaurant, you will be taken to Sakkara to see the very first pyramid ever built; the Step Pyramid of Djoser. You will also get the chance to see some fantastic mastabas, including the mastaba of Mereruka, the largest one built in ancient Egypt. You will then be able to marvel at the Pyramid Texts inside the Pyramid of Teti before heading off to the ancient capital of Egypt: Memphis. The Colossus of Ramses II dominates the museum here; do not forget your camera! After this amazing trip through Egypt's pharaonic past you will be driven back to your hotel and overnight
After breakfast you will be taken to the Egyptian Museum: gaze at the wonders of King Tutankhamen, including his golden death mask; stare upon the mummies of some of Egypt's ancient pharaohs (optional); lose yourself in the many rooms and galleries, where thousands of artifacts are awaiting your visit.
After lunch at a local restaurant, you will be taken on a tour of Cairo famous Churches, including The Hanging Church and the Church of St. George the Martyr, 2 churches built into the walls of the Fort of Babylon and its remains could be Cairo's oldest structures; and the Church of Abu Serga (St. Sergius), where, it is said, the Holy Family took shelter in a cave, with the church being erected her to commemorate this. This whole area is a world famous destination for Pilgrims. At the end of this exciting day, you will be driven to your hotel to check-out and then driven to see the old market of Cairo (Khan El-Khalili) before being taken to Ramses railway station, where you will board the night sleeper service to Aswan, which departs at 2025.
Dinner is served onboard of the train.

Around 0815 you will arrive at Aswan station. Here you will be met and assisted by our representative who will transfer you to your cruise boat: your floating hotel for your next 4 days.
After lunch, you will be driven to see the High Dam, the worlds largest rock filled dam, and the Temple of Philae moved to the island of Agilika after the waters of Lake Nasser flooded its original location. It is then back to Aswan to rejoin your cruise and as the Nile laps gently underneath you, dinner will be served.
A new day and your first breakfast on board as the boat sails majestically towards Kom Ombo, where you will visit the Temple of Kom Ombo, dedicated to Horus andHaroeris. After the visit, you will be taken back to the boat for your lunch while it sails onward to Edfu, home of the best-preserved temple in Egypt: the Temple of Horus. It is then back to the boat and you can watch as it departs Edfu and sails for Esna. Once you reach Esna you will watch as it sails through the Esna locks. Once through the locks, the boat continues on its course towards Luxor, which it will reach after you have had dinner
Optional Trip :
You may choose to visit Abu Simbel to see these marvelous temples, which were originally carved out of a rocky mountainside by Ramses II. The air-conditioned coach trip costs $165 per person.
An early breakfast and then it is time to visit the West Bank of Luxor: the tombs of the New Kingdom Pharaohs in the Valley of the Kings; the magnificent temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir El-Bahri finishing with the immense Colossi of Memnon. After lunch, which you will have on board, you will visit the magnificent Karnack and Luxor Temples. Once your visit to these ancient Theban Temples is completed you return to the boat where your last dinner, upon this floating hotel, will be served.
After breakfast, you will check-out from the cruise and our representative will transfer you to your Luxor hotel. After check-in, you will visit the magnificent Karnak and Luxor Temples. Once your visit to these ancient Theban Temples is completed you return to your hotel and overnight.
Breakfast at hotel and check out, rest of the day free at leisure or any optional tours. Evening you will be transferred to Luxor train station for an overnight sleeper Train rideback to Cairo with Dinner and Breakfast on board.
06:45 and here you arrive at Cairo train station, our representative will meet and assist you is followed by a drive, in our air-conditioned vehicle, to Alexandria. Your visit to this beautiful city, originally built by Alexander the Great, includes a trip into the catacombs (Kom el Shoqafa), where the early Christians were buried; the Roman Amphitheatre, which every town in the ancient Roman Empire had; Pompey's Pillar ; and finally a visit to the Montazah Gardens, a private park where world leaders often meet, 150 acres of numerous trees, palms, and flowers which overlook many bays and beaches. Lunch will be supplied at a local restaurant in the middle of this exciting tour, at the end of the day, you will be transferred to your hotel in Alexandria for check in and overnight.
Your day starts with breakfast in your hotel followed by a visit to the Citadel of Qaitbay, where about 1480 AD the Mameluke Sultan Al-Ashraf Qaitbay fortified the site, which held the ruins of the Alexandria Lighthouse, and with successive improvements, it now stands as a very prominent Citadel on the Mediterranean coastline. Lunch will be supplied at a local restaurant in the middle of this exciting tour, next is a visit to the Greco-Roman Museum. This 21 rooms museum contain about 40,000 valuable relics dating from as early as the 3rd century B.C.
At the end of the day, you will be transferred back to your hotel.
Your final day starts with breakfast at the hotel followed by check-out. You will then be transferred to the airport for your final departure.

Because all of our packages are all privately arranged whereas you will get a private tour with private guide and private transportation, there is No restricted start or finishing dates, you can do it at your own schedule. If we have to, we will simply alter the itinerary so that it fits with the cruise embarkation, ensuring that no planned visits are missed, just rescheduled somewhere else.
This allows you to get the best available flights, which is a huge asset if you are traveling on a budget. Obviously, this is something that companies who only offer large group visits cannot offer.

FINAL PAYMENTS:

CHANGE / REVISION FEES:
There are no extra fees for name changes. If you require a room type change from double to twin or vice versa, there are no fees but it is subject to availability.
Changing a different tour date is possible 180 or more days before your holiday start date & if the new tour has availability. There are no administration fees but you would have to pay the difference if the new dates are more expensive. It is not possible to change the dates of your holiday within 180 days of the start date.
PARTICIPANT CANCELLATIONS:
All cancellations must be advised in writing (by mail or e-mail) to AskAladdin prior to tour departure during normal business hours (9:00 am to 5:00 pm GMT, Mondays through Fridays). Cancellations are subject to the following penalties:
60-31 days before tour start date – 50% of the total booking cost
30-15 days before tour start date – 80% of the total booking cost
Less than 15 days before tour start date – 100%
TRAVEL INSURANCE:
AskAladdin Tours do not sell Travel Insurance. We would recommend "Travel Insured" or another insurance company. AskAladdin however, requires that all passengers have travel insurance.
